Fanny Packs

As I was walking home yesterday, I heard a strong Spanish accent behind me singing confidently and from the sound of it walking faster than me (rare). It was some song in English with a lot of "baby" in the lyrics, and as he passed me I couldn't help but give him the once over.

Completely normal at first glance- khaki shorts, black t-shirt, vans, ankle socks. And then I saw it. The Bright Red Fanny Pack. And a bandanna wrapped around his head.

Oh, I'm in Chile...

And it's not just him! Fanny Packs are EVERYWHERE!

In other news, the dollar has climbed to over 600 pesos. When I got here, it was hovering around 500 pesos. Cool.

Gotta love Chilean fanny packs. Especially if they have stars, hearts or skulls on them.
